PLANT DESCRIPTION
An erect armed perennial shrub grows up to 1.5 meters in height. Leaves simple, opposite, ovate-lanceolate and shiny. Thorns arise near to leaf axils. Flowers bright yellow or orange in color, solitary and axillary. Fruits ovate, with woody beak.
MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated vata, pitta, gingivitis, stomatitis, burns, dental caries, inflammations ascites, edema, wounds, nocturnal ejaculation and cracking heel.
Useful part : Leaves.
