PLANT DESCRIPTION
An erect perennial grass grows up to 60 cm of height. Leaves crowded in the base, about 40-60 cm long, linear, acuminate, flat, one nerved; spikelets in compound umbels. Flowers boat shaped; Nut grayish black colored, triangular.
MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated kapha, pitta, diarrhea, indigestion, anorexia, intermittent fever, burning sensation, headache, general debility and urinary retention.
Useful part : Root tuber.
