PLANT DESCRIPTION
An erect annual or biennial herb grows up to 1.5 meters in height. Leaves alternate, simple and lobed; flowers yellowish green solitary in the axils of leaf like bracts. Fruits capsules, enclosed in enlarged calyx. Seeds numerous, minute and kidney shaped.

MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated vata, kapha, inflammation, cardiac debility, epilepsy, asthma, cough, fever, insomnia and arthritis.
