PLANT DESCRIPTION
A large, evergreen twinner shrub. Leaves are simple, ovate, opposite, base rounded or chordate; flowers are whitish, fragrant, seen in terminal and axillary cymes. Fruits are black, globose berries, become black when ripe.

MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated vata, pitta, wounds, ulcers, constipation, flatulence, skin diseases, rheumatism, stomatitis and dysmenorrhoea.
Useful part : Whole plant.
