PLANT DESCRIPTION

Plant pacifies vitiated vata, hepato-splenomegaly, renal and vesical calculi, constipation, asthma and leukoderma.

PLANT DESCRIPTION
A medium sized tree. Bark whitish grey colored and lenticellate. Leaves opposite, cordate, ovate glandular, glabrous above when mature, tomentose beneath. Flowers are large, yellowish or yellowish brown arranged in terminal panicles. Fruits are fleshy ovoid drupe, contain one or two seeds.

MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated tridoshas, inflammation, ulcers, fever dyspepsia, hemorrhoids, burning sensation and constipation.

PLANT DESCRIPTION
A perennial undershrub grows up to 1.5 meters in height. Leaves compound, pinnate, leaf lets 4-7 pairs; flowers violet in axillary racemes, fruits flattened linear pods, containing flattened seeds. Underground stems woody, pale brown color, fibrous and cream colored, with a peculiar sweetish taste.

PLANT DESCRIPTION
A soft, perennial tendril climber with underground white cylindrical rhyzome. Leaves simple, subsessile, alternate, lanceolate, with acuminate tips, extended to tendrils. Flowers handsome, solitary, first yellow colored then changes to scarlet red. Fruits oblong capsules, with many small round seeds.

MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated kapha, indigestion, fever, arthritis, obstructed labor, cardio-myopathy, skin diseases, in higher dose or without purification, it is highly poisonous.
Useful part : Rhizome.

PLANT DESCRIPTION
A large shrub or small tree grows up to 7 meters in height. Leaves simple, opposite, elliptic, oblong, shining with prominent nerves; flowers white, then change to yellow, found in leaf axils. Fruits large berries with hard endocarp. Seeds many, compressed and shining. The resin exudate from the stem is used as medicine.
