PLANT DESCRIPTION
A medium sized deciduous tree grows up to 25 meters in height. Leaves imparipinnately compound, about 30-40 cm long; flower many in terminal panicles; fruits are fleshy drupes with woody endocarp surrounded by fibers; unripe fruit are light green colored, which changes into yellow when ripen.
MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated tridosha, dysentery, diarrhea, otalgia, dyspepsia, and general debility. The unripe fruits are often used for making pickles.
