Distribution – Throughout India, growing in deciduous forests.
PLANT DESCRIPTION
A deciduous tree grows up to 30 meters in height. Leaves compound, imparipinnate, large, focused at edges of branches. Leaflets 7-9 numbered, ovate-lanceolate, acuminate; flowers yellow in terminal cymes. Fruits long slender cylindrical capsules, contains small compressed winged seeds.
MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated vata, pitta skin diseases, urinary retention, kidney stones, arthritis, cough, hemorrhoids, and muscular pain.
Useful part : Root, Leaves, Flowers, Fruits, Seeds.
