Distribution – Found in Western Ghats and in Assam hills.

PLANT DESCRIPTION
A large shrub or small tree grows up to 10 meters in height. Leaves are trifoliate, alternate, pubescent, ovate-elliptic, acute, serrate and hairy on both surfaces. Flowers small white in axillary racemes. Fruits globose green and become red when ripe.

MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated vata, pitta, inflammation, diarrhea, wound, ulcers, anorexia and general debility.
Useful part : Whole plant.
