PLANT DESCRIPTION
A perennial erect herb with hemispherical underground corm. Leaves compound, large, single, stout petioled; leaflets or variable size, male and female flower are in single inflorescence, fruits berries, bright red when ripe, containing small seeds.

MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated vata, kapha, hemorrhoids, hemorrhage, arthritis, inflammation, vomiting, cough, anorexia, amenorrhea, dysmenorrhea, sexual weakness and general debility.
Useful part : Corms.
