PLANT DESCRIPTION
A large deciduous tree grows up to 30 meters in height. Leaves simple, alternate, ovate oblong, acuminate, base cordate, with prominent nerves; flowers yellow, in lax axillary or terminal panicles. Fruits ovoid, with 5 wings, indehiscent, contain ovoid seeds.
MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated kapha, vata, nervine pain, arthritis, infection, wounds, ulcers, burns, pruritus, fracture, fever, hemorrhoid, menorrhagia, jaundice, splenomegaly, obesity, headache, and skin diseases.
Useful part : Bark, Leaves, Resin, Fruits
