Distribution – Throughout India growing in dense forests.
PLANT DESCRIPTION
A large woody climber grows spreading over large trees. Leaves simple, alternate, long petioled, ovate, cordate; flowers greenish in long panicles, arises from the nodes of old stem. Fruits drupes, globose, white and turns dark purple when ripe.
MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated kapha, vata, ulcer, inflammation, chronic skin diseases, bronchitis, cough and used for rapid evolution of uterus.
