PLANT DESCRIPTION
A small to medium sized evergreen tree grows up to 10 meters in height. Leaves compound, alternate, paripinnate, leaflets 8-20 pairs, lanceolate, acute, and pubescent. Flowers seen in drooping panicles arise from old nodes. Fruits pale green colored, oblong with 2-3 ridges, contain small whitish compressed seeds embedded in sour pulp.
MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated vata, pitta, indigestion, anorexia, fever, scurvy, vomiting, hepato-splenomegali, hypercholestremia, poison, gingivitis, anemia, hemorrhoids, ringworm and internal hemorrhage.
Useful part : Fruits, Leaves.
