Distribution – Growing naturally in the warm areas of India.

PLANT DESCRIPTION
A spreading annual herb with bifid tendrils. Leaves deeply lobed, with narrow lobes, thick, fleshy, glabrous and hairy. Flowers monoecious, yellow and solitary. Fruits globose fleshy green berries, marked with white streaks, contain numerous pale brown seeds.

MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated pitta, kapha constipation, urinary tract infections, jaundice, worm infestation, tumor, ascites, skin diseases, asthma, bronchitis, and abdominal disorders.
