Distribution – Throughout India growing on old trees, rocks and walls.

PLANT DESCRIPTION
A fern with fleshy, hairy soft creeping stem. Fronds are two types, sterile and fertile fronds. Sterile will dry soon and form as protective covering for rhizomes. Fertile fronds long stalked, pinnate, with numerous sori, on each primary areole.

MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated vata, pitta, inflammation, infection, typhoid, cough, arthritis, headache, diarrhea, ulcer, and migraine.
Useful part : Rhizomes.
