Distribution – Growing naturally in the central parts of India.

PLANT DESCRIPTION
A medium sized evergreen plant grows up to 25 meters in height. Leaves simple, alternate, oblong-lanceolate, crenate, acute or acuminate, glabrous; flowers white, in axillary racemes, fruits globose drupes, contains stony hard tubercle, contains 5 seeds.

MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated kapha, vata, nervous weakness, insanity, epilepsy, melancholia, mania, other mental disorders, insomnia, headache, jaundice, hypertension and fever.
Useful part : Fruits, Seed kernel.
