PLANT DESCRIPTION
A medium sized fast growing tree grows up to 20 meters in height. Stems armed with conical thorns. Leaves trifoliate, leaflets broad, rhomboid ovate; flowers coral red in dense recemes. Fruits pods containing up to 12 seeds; seeds dark purple or brown.

MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated kapha, vata, inflammation, insomnia, anorexia, colic, helminthiasis, cough, bronchitis, dysmenorrhoea, skin diseases and fever.
Useful part : Bark, Leaves.
