Distribution
Throughout India, especially in dry areas.

PLANT DESCRIPTION
A fleshy, branched shrub grows up to 5 meters in height. Stems are green colored, round and latex can be found everywhere. Leaves are fleshy, deciduous, obovate, acute, and spathulate, crowded at tip of branches. Involucres usually three, in short peduncle. Fruits are tricoccus, with small greenish seeds.

MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated kapha, vata, skin diseases, constipation, fistula, hemorrhoids, arthritis, ulcers, asthma, edema, toxin, ascites and stomach distension. It pacifies vitiated blood.
