PLANT DESCRIPTION
An evergreen tree grows up to 15 meters in height. Leaves simple, opposite, oblong-lanceolate, acute or acuminate; flowers solitary variable in color, fruits star shaped, with 8 follicles, containing small shiny brown colored seed in each follicle.

MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated kapha, dyspepsia, flatulence, dysentery, cough, asthma, arthritis, hemiplegia, nervine weakness and facial paralysis.
