PLANT DESCRIPTION
A trailing perennial herb grows extensively in sandy shores. Leaves lobed, alternate, glabrous with parallel venation. Flowers large, purple, solitary; fruits ovoid capsule, seeds 4 per capsule dark brown.

MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated pitta, inflammation, skin disease, boils, wound ulcers, hemorrhoids and burning sensation.
Useful part : Whole plant.
