PLANT DESCRIPTION
An evergreen tree grows up to 30 meters in height. Leaves simple, opposite, thick, lanceolate, covered with cuticle, red colored when young. Flowers white, fragrant, axillary or sometimes at the tip of branches. Stamen golden yellow. Fruits ovoid with surrounded by persistent sepals. Seeds 1-4 angular, grey or brown and smooth.

MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated pitta, vata, fever, cough, asthma, itching, hyper perspiration, skin diseases, and acid peptic diseases.
Useful part : Flowers, oil
