PLANT DESCRIPTION
An erect herbaceous annual, 60-120 cm height. Leaves simple, broadly elliptic, rounded, clothed with white hairs on both surfaces, covered with numerous black dots. Flowers blue in dense, axillary, 10-30 flowered racemes; fruit pods, subglobose, slightly compressed, black, seeds oblong, flattened, dark brown with an agreeable aromatic odor and taste.

MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated pitta, leucoderma, ulcers, scabies, leprosy, muco-membraneous disorders and dermatitis.
