PLANT DESCRIPTION
A small undershrub grows up to 30 cm in height. Leaves simple, alternate, ovate-lanceolate, acute, and pubescent. Flowers yellowish, very small, unisexual; fruits three chambered with spiny tubercles, contain small ovate seeds.
MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated vata, pitta, diarrhea, dysentery, hemorrhage, hemorrhoids, menorrhagia, leucorrhea and skin diseases. .
