PLANT DESCRIPTION
An erect annual pubescent herb grows up to 1 meter in height, and branched from the base. Leaves alternate, long petioled, ovate-lanceolate, with wavy margins, Flowers are purplish, arises from leaf axils. Fruits are quadrangular, oblong capsules.
MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated kapha, pitta, dysentery, nephropathy, skin diseases, hemorrhoids, ulcers and migraine.
