PLANT DESCRIPTION
A semi woody, erect annual or perennial undershrub grows up to 1 meter in height. Leaves are variable, Rhomboid-lanceolate, serrated at apical half; flowers yellowish white, solitary, found in leaf axils. Fruits schizocarp, enclosed within the calyx. Seeds brown colored and smooth.
MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated vata, pitta, pain, arthritis, asthma, bronchitis, burning sensation, and urinary retention.
Useful part : Root.
