PLANT DESCRIPTION
A small sized evergreen tree grows up to 10 meters in height. Leaves simple, alternate, thick, lanceolate, dentate or serrate, and acuminate. Flowers yellowish, fragrant, in axillary spikes. Fruits small globose drupes. Seeds 1-3. Bark is grayish green.
MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated pitta, kapha, inflammation, asthma, cough, ulcers, skin diseases, arthritis, leucorrhoea, diarrhea, and skin discoloration.
Useful part : Bark.
