Distribution – Cultivated in Punjab, Tamilnadu, Maharashtra, and Kashmir states in India.

PLANT DESCRIPTION
An annual herb grows up to 60 cm. leaves compound, trifoliate, imparipinnate; flower yellowish white found in leaf axils; fruits pods, with long beak; seeds 10-15 per pod, brown colored with a grove on one corner.

MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated pitta, vata, cardiac ailments, diabetes, urinary retention, fever, cough, arthritis, colic, constipation, and burning sensation. It stimulates breast milk production. It is a stimulant of endocrine and digestive systems.
