Distribution – Throughout India growing wild in planes, and hills up to 350 meters of elevation.

PLANT DESCRIPTION
A small, sub erect twinner, with slender stem. Leaves trifoliate, with long petiole, leaflets sub ovate or rhomboid, silky hairy on both sides; flowers yellow, in short axillary racemes; fruits cylindric 3-4 cm long, pubescent, two valved pods. Seeds 8-10 per pod, dark brown.

MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated vata, pitta, skin diseases, inflammation, cough, hemiplegia, fever and general debility.
Useful part : Whole plant (sometimes root only)
