Distribution – Throughout India growing in waste land and coastal areas.

PLANT DESCRIPTION
A large thorny shrub grows up to 6 meters in height. Leaves bipinnate, large, pinnate 7 pairs, leaflets 3-8 pairs; flowers yellow, found in long pedunculated axillary racemes; fruits pods, covered with prickles all around; seeds oblong, hard and grey.

MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated tridosha, amenorrhea, dysmenorrhea, fever, cough, worms, flatulence, dyspepsia, jaundice, arthritis, splenomegaly and diabetes.
Useful part : Root, Bark, Leaves Seeds.
