PLANT DESCRIPTION
An erect annual or biennial herb grows up to 1.5 meters in height. Leaves simple, opposite, lobed, chordate, hairy and membranous. Flowers bright orange, seen in long terminal branched spikes. Fruits small berries.
MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated vata, pitta, inflammation, ulcers, wounds and skin diseases.
