PLANT DESCRIPTION
A perennial sweet scented grass grows up to 2 meters in height. Leaves linear-lanceolate, acute; flower in spikelets, in long panicles, turning reddish brown when mature.

MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated kapha, vata, nervine pain, bronchitis, cough, anorexia, colic, skin diseases, epilepsy in children and fever.
