PLANT DESCRIPTION
A slender creeper with red tuberous roots. Leaves simple, alternate, entire and deeply lobed. Flowers purple, solitary, in cymose clusters. Fruits globose or ovoid capsules, seeds 2-4 flat and black colored.
MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated vata, pitta, burning sensations, constipation, general weakness, renal calculi, and sexual stimulant.
Useful part : Root tubers.
