PLANT DESCRIPTION

A small prickly climbing perennial herb with long long reddish, fiberous roots. Stems are quadrangular. Leaves are found as whorl numbered 2-8, cordate-ovate with round base, petioles very long provided with sharp prickles in the edges. Flowers are greenish white, or yellowish or red small and sweet scented, found in terminal panicled glabrous cymes. Fruits are globose or slightly 2 lobed, purplish black when ripe. Seeds two.

MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated pitta, rakta, kapha, neurogenic pain, skin diseases, diabetes, Bleeding disorders, and erysipelas. It increases body power and anti toxic in nature.
Useful part : Root.
