PLANT DESCRIPTION
An erect perennial grass, grows up to 5 meters in height. Leaves 1-1.5 meters long, erect or drooping, acute, with scrubby surfaces. Flowers found in terminal spike, with numerous spikelets surrounded by long silky hair. Grains oblong to suboblong. Reproduction is by vegetative manner. MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated vata, pitta, burning sensation, urinary retention, constipation, anemia, gastritis, ulcers, emaciation, cardiac debility and general debility.
Useful part : Root, Stem.
