PLANT DESCRIPTION
A tall erect perennial herb grows up to 4 meters in height. Leaves simple, alternate, linear, acuminate, scrubby; flowers composed of spikelets on long panicles. Grain globose or sub globose.
MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated pitta vata, burning sensation, calculi, hemorrhoids, urinary tract infections, menorrhagia, dysentery and general debility.
