PLANT DESCRIPTION
Moderate sized deciduous tree grows up to 15-20 meters in height. Bark grayish colored, leaves opposite, oblong, with smooth cuticle surfaces. Flowers occur usually in clusters. Fruits are single, round and become orange red on ripen, contain many discoid seeds.
MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated kapha, vata, cardiomyopathy, hypotension, arthritis, and dementia. In large doses, all part of the tree is toxic.
