Distribution – Growing naturally throughout India, along roadsides and wastelands, in rainy seasons.

PLANT DESCRIPTION
An annual herbaceous succulent plant grows up to 30 cm in height. Leaves simple, alternate, cordate-ovate, acuminate, and pubescent. Flowers very small, seen in short spikes, usually dioecious; fruits globose, one seeded berries.

MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated kapha, pitta, constipation, kidney diseases, urinary retention, disuria, urinary tract infections, emaciation, edema and general weakness.
Useful part : Whole plant.
