PLANT DESCRIPTION
A large sized deciduous plant grows up to 40 meters in height. Leaves simple, opposite, large, elliptic-obovate, acute or acuminate, rough above and grey tomentose beneath; flowers many white, in large erect terminal tomentose cymes, fruits single, bony hard, globose drupes, with persistent calyx, contain 1-3 seeds.

MEDICINAL PROPERTIES
Plant pacifies vitiated pitta, inflammation, burning sensation, skin diseases, diabetes, stomatitis, ulcers, hemorrhages, urinary retention, kidney diseases, urinary calculi and arthritis.
Useful part : Leaves, Seeds, Bark, Root.
